Veedersburg- George William Henderson, 91, died at his farm home near Veedersburg at noon Sunday. He had been ill for the past four years and was seriously ill for the last month of his life. He was born Sept. 22, 1871, in Potomac, Ill., son of George and Sarah Yerkik Henderson. Henderson was married to Lucinda Philpot, who preceded him in death. Surviving are two daughters, Edna Hegg of Kingman and Mrs. Zala Netala, of Portage, Ga.; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a member fo the Sheridan EUB Church and was employed by the Veedersburg Brick Co. for many years. He was later engaged in farming until his retirement. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Rev. J. Samuel Pritchard will officiate. Burial will be in the Cold Springs Cemetery at Veedersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home.
